Books. Parties. Bands.

I've finished all the 6 jane austen books. I wish I could invite her around to dinner, mostly for getting to talk to her before and after such an excuse.
I feel half inclined to rereading something - either pride and prejudice or wuthering heights (i know the latter isn't austen, but it was brought up on friday and stuff)
My plan, though, is to go through the work of the Bronte sisters next. Then Frances Hodgson Burnett (her children's books at least/mostly- I've only heard one brief opinion on her adult books and it was quite negative), then Henry Handel Richardson's "The Fortunes of Richard Mahony" which I picked up a couple of months back at a book sale. All female writers, and each a slight period after the previous I think..
Not a bad plan? Any suggestions, of other authors or anything I might have forgotten or not know?

Went to my friend Sara's 21st on last Friday and the party itself was very good. I liked the speeches. I wish I'd left more room for that extremely divine cake.
The night was soured by a 2 things - being refused entry to the meat market we went to afterwards, and then having my vague plans for getting home unrealised and having to push the goodwill of others. Well.. I'm not sure how to put it. My friends parents did the goodwill. My friends seemed like the ones I was embarassedly pushing. I was reflecting along this line of thought last night. I could/will probably write an entry just on that.

The night before had been New Buffalo & Holly Throsby at Cap S. I like. My housemate happened to be meeting some friends there, so I got to meet them too. Found out that all the Architecture in Helsinki kids have agreed to do the dj thing at Bar Open next Thursday. I haven't been there, but I think I'd like to go to that. I've met one of those kids before.
